MediaTek Dimensity 7050 is the Oppo F25 Pro 5G processor which is a 6nm 5G modem with an integrated chipset. It features an octa-core architecture that combines two Cortex-A78 performance cores operating at up to 2.6GHz, and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. Technically, it's very close to the popular Dimensity 1080, so this is a platform that has proven itself to be a mid-range one instead of a completely new design. The support for memory is important, too. For the phone it's paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 8GB of virtual RAM extension and UFS 3.1 storage in 128GB or 256GB capacities. It ensures fast application launching and file transfers for the section. It also introduced support for Android 14, and will support Android 15 with an update. The Oppo F25 Pro 5G processor also doesn't struggle with social media, streaming, video calls, and multitasking in everyday use, while reviewers have confirmed that it can support casual and moderate gaming. Flagship level frame rates are not expected for very demanding games at maximum settings, but games are comfortable at medium settings. The efficient cores also ensure that most users are able to enjoy a complete day's worth of 5000mAh battery life. The main drawback is that it is old. This being a 2024 chipset, it now falls behind newer mid-rangers when it comes to raw benchmark scores, so if you're a hardcore gamer and spend hours playing games that demand a lot from your processor, a newer chipset may be a ***ter pick. For those who like to focus on the display and battery life, it's a seamless performer.TechyAssist is the one to check out if you are looking to get a feel before you purchase.
